About Me

My name is Ben or Benjamin and I am the Vice President of Information Technology at Costello Group IT Solutions Consulting a spin-off of Costello & Associates, founded in 1988.

I currently live in Lincoln, Nebraska. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Journalism with a focus on Photojournalism. I also minored in Portuguese while living and studying abroad in Brazil for a year. Eu tenho muito saudades do Brasil!

I've been working in IT since I was 17 and in High School in 1994 when my older brother got me a job at NBC Bank in the computing division where I monitored the uptime and maintenance needs of ATM's across Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. I worked two 12 hour shift from 6pm Saturday to 6am Sunday and 6pm Sunday to 6am Monday. From work I went directly to school for a very long day of classes.

Since then I worked as a Unit Director at YMCA Camp Kitaki, an Audio Visual Specialist, Audio Production and Mater Control at our local TV station KOLN/KGIN 10/11.

I also worked in IT at the University of Nebraska for many years before devoting myself full time to the Costello Group.
